Who we are

Seasona is a platform that matches seasonal workers and agricultural employers. This page explains how we handle personal data in compliance with the GDPR.

Data we collect

• Waitlist: email address, role (seasonal or employer), optional UTM/referral parameters.
• App (later): profile details you choose to provide, messages, ratings, and uploaded documents.
• Analytics: aggregated usage metrics (no sensitive content).

Purposes & legal bases

• Waitlist management & product communication — consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
• Account creation, matching, messaging — contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Security, fraud prevention, debugging — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Data retention

Waitlist data is kept until you unsubscribe or we close the pre-launch program. Operational account data is kept for as long as your account is active. We remove or anonymize data when no longer needed for the stated purposes.

Processors

We may use trusted processors for hosting, storage and email delivery (e.g., cloud hosting, database, email provider). They process data on our behalf under data processing agreements and adequate safeguards (EU/EEA or SCCs).
